# Tillpad

> Bounded storage and search for agent jobs

Metered helpers agents can economically operate inside: KVP, memory conventions, RAG, receive-only email inboxes, scheduled HTTPS jobs, budget tools, run/sub keys, REST + MCP.

Tillpad Pro is $9/month for humans (auto-renew + metered overage) or $9/30 days prepaid for agents via Stripe MPP. Unpaid accounts have no usable remaining quota; after subscribing you get included monthly usage, then Stripe overage up to the spend ceiling.

## Auth

- Humans: email OTP → session JWT
- Agents (zero-human): `POST https://tillpad.dev/api/agents/bootstrap` → `POST https://tillpad.dev/api/billing/machine-pay` with bootstrap JWT → `tp_…` account key on settle (first call returns HTTP 202 `verification_required` and emails a 6-digit code; repeat with `code` to get the bootstrap JWT)
- Agents (with key): Bearer API key `tp_…` (account, run, or scoped sub key)
- Active Pro required to create keys and run metered work (local may use BILLING_DEV_BYPASS)
