Give an AI agent its own inbox
Hand the agent an address on your Tillpad domain, let mail arrive, and have the agent read it with the same API key. The address cannot send. For developers giving an agent a receive-only inbox. Pro is $9 a month.
A mailbox that only receives
People and other systems send mail to localPart@your inbound domain. The agent lists messages, reads one, and downloads an attachment or the raw MIME. A temporary address expires. A permanent one stays until you delete it.
Use a temporary inbox for a job that should stop accepting mail, and a permanent one for an agent that should keep the same address. Deleting an inbox purges stored messages. The email API page lists the size and rate limits for this deployment.
Tell your system that mail arrived
Register a webhook if your own server should wake up. Tillpad POSTs metadata for email.received and signs it with HMAC. Your server then calls the message API if it needs the body. Block a sender address or a domain when a mailbox starts collecting mail you do not want. The block applies to every inbox on the account.
Each accepted message counts as one inbound_email toward the spending cap. Listing messages does not. Reading raw MIME or an attachment counts as one key-value operation each.
